littlemartys: October is Dysautonomia Awareness Month. Dysautonomia is the disfunction of your autonomic nervous system (ANS). Your ANS controls things you don’t have to think about… breathing, heart rate, blood flow, digestion, etc. And basically when all of those things go out of whack you experience a wide range of symptoms. From passing out, nausea, migranes, the list goes on forever. This illness is VERY new and there are not a lot of people that know about it, including doctors. I have had this illness for 3 years and there is no specific cure. There is no cure AT ALL for that matter. I am not asking for your sympathy. I am raising awareness so more people can know and learn about what I go through on a daily basis in life.
