So this is the state of my port, now that all the bandages have fallen off. It seems the incision has been glued together from the inside. You can’t really see the port sticking up through the skin the way you can on a lot of people, maybe it’s because I’m fat. But you can definitely <em>feel</em> it – it’s sort of on the middle to left (my left) side of the incision. The incision is the straight pink line towards the top of the pictures.

I can’t wait to see what happens when they first try to use it. Maybe that makes me geeky, I don’t care. I want to see how much easier it is than trying to find a vein. That’s what I’m hoping anyway.

This is going to be a very busy, high-stress week (or more), so a friendly reminder not to fuck with me at the moment (and a friendly reminder that stress can kill me, yay adrenal insufficiency). When it comes to blocking people, etc., I won’t have any fucks left to give.
