Dave Spicer is a wonderful autistic man that I’ve meant to post more about. He wrote the words this video came from. It compares aspects of being autistic to the way different rocks look. I thought madeofpatterns would like it especially. I used to hand out little cards with this printed on it in pouches of rocks like these. Anyway he gave full permission for me to use his words in this video, I just want to give him the full credit for writing it. All I did was buy the rocks and make the video.

Some people try to respond to this video by acting like each perwon can only be like one of the rocks. That’s not how Dave or I meant it. We meant to capture the many different ways that autism can appear to outsiders, and there’s no reason that several can’t aooly to one person.
