I just talked to my dad. He’s gotten a lot weaker and is having trouble talking, so I purred at him and we stared at each other and just loved each other a lot. You could feel the love, it was like sitting in a room saturated with it. He’s going to try to Skype me later in the day when he’s feeling better. I’m worried how many times I’ll be able to talk to him again, I’m just glad I got Internet in the nick of time. Burlington Telecom really took their time getting my phone and Internet hooked up. (Today is the first day I can receive phone calls, too. Yesterday I had only outgoing phone. It was weird.) But I’ve had no problem since they hooked it up. It turns out I don’t need a modem, just a router, which makes it easier.
