I wish I could do that thing that autistic people are supposed to be good at.

Where we can supposedly repeat back large numbers of words, whether or not the words make sense in context. Like they did experiments where autistic people were found to be able to just repeat a nonsensical string of words, just as well as they could repeat a sentence of the same length that made sense.

I think I maybe used to be good at it, or am good at it in an unconscious/involuntary context, as the basis for how I acquired language, and how I use language. But I can’t do it on command. And since my mobile client won’t let me see the image I’m trying to describe, it took me forever to transcribe that one simple sentence in my last post. I sure wish I could just turn on and off my autistic superpowers at will, it would make life so much more convenient.
