I will finish my book.

I don’t care how long it takes.

I found out that it meant a lot to my dad that he and I were both writing novels at the same time.

Now I don’t care about the restrictions of NaNoWriMo anymore, I don’t care about whether I finish on time or with the right word count. I do care, but I care much more…. I care much more that I finish it at all.

Because if it meant that much to my father when he was in the end stages of terminal cancer and had all sorts of other things to worry about. Then there’s no way I’ll let him down.
