Thank you. I hadn’t thought of that as an answer, but it makes sense. There’s a lot of my father in me, not just physically. He used to call me a chip off the old blockhead. He’d address cards to Chip and sign them The Old Blockhead. And I feel more like myself in his clothes. More rooted to family in general, to tradition, to culture. Not that I don’t love the rest of my clothes equally for different reasons. But right this instant, dad clothes make me feel like he’s still around, like he’s inside me somewhere.
