Added glossary.
I added a glossary page to my poetry blog because I realized I was using words not everyone knows about.
I know there are other words, but I started off with pronouns because that was the easiest. And also marona, since that’s a neologism of my own making that does confuse people when thrown randomly into poetry.
So I defined:
sie/hir/hirs/hirself
wit
yit
The first being my preferred gender-neutral pronoun (I’m genderless, it’s only a big deal if you turn it into one).
The second being archaic dual forms from English, that my brain sometimes insists on putting in my writing. So wit is we two, and yit is you two. Some languages still have dual forms. Think of yit as halfway between you and y’all, completely overlapping with the part of y’all that covers only two people.
Here’s my glossary page. It’s a work in progress. I hope to go back over my work and look for words people might find hard to understand. And you can always request that I put a word fro my poetry there, although I might be slow getting round to it. The best place to put such requests is in the comments section of the glossary itself.
