Wow.

A package of stuff arrived today.

It included my dad’s beard hairs.

It also included more hats he owned than I have ever seen in one place. Or at all.

Hats were very important to my dad, and I learned they were important and special.

I’ve tried them on and my poofy hair makes up for my small head. They all fit.

But I won’t post pictures yet. I feel like they need time to get used to it here, and I need to get used to them as well. Some objects are more opinionated than others, and these fall under that category. I can tell, I think, that they like me, but they have a huge loyalty to my father and I need to earn their trust.

His suspenders, on the other hand, are just happy to be holding pants up again, and they may also like being reunited with the dad shirts I’ve already been sent.

Thank you Anna, I know it can’t have been easy to go through his things like that.
