Shadow is liquid sunlight 
Poured over his black fur
As he lies in a sunbeam

Shadow is molten lava
Pouring out of a volcano
Glowing orange and red

Shadow sparkles
In all the colors of sunset
When sunlight hits the right part of
His amber soul

Shadow is liquid sunlight
Shadow is molten lava
Shadow is amber in the sun

Shadow is daring and fiery
Shadow is passionate and loving
And utterly relaxed 
About it all
