➸ Blaming diabetes on poor eating habits has delayed real action
A community based approach would be a first step to confront the misconception that type 2 diabetes is exclusively a result of lifestyleYeah.
I’m at risk for diabetes not because of my diet or activity level but because diabetes is in my family. While keeping your weight down can help keep it at bay or make it better, it’s not going to do much if you have a strong genetic predisposition.
