Thirsty.

This is what I do when I get thirsty.  Just as getting a bolus of IV fluids eventually feels like taking a nice cool drink of water, the same goes for putting water into a J-tube.  I just gave myself 120 CCs of water and I feel completely refreshed.

This is the best syringe I’ve got.  Unfortunately, I was keeping the name of it somewhere so I could order more myself (the agency that orders them for me gets random ones from different companies, so I can’t rely on them) and someone threw it out months ago.  So “Mr. Big Flange” as one of the subs calls this syringe (flanges are those finger-rests on the sides, this one has enormous flanges) is alone, even though I want more of them.
