the best thing that happened this weekend was talking to an eleven-year-old who thinks the Bible would have been greatly improved if it had more descriptions of the characters, so we could understand what Isaac was like as a child before God told Abraham to sacrifice him

she is currently writing a few novels right now, one about wolves that help God create miracles and another one about zombie dogs

sounds like an eleven year old who needs to be taught lots and lots of midrash
