If you have Kindle Unlimited…

…you can get Autism: Sensory-Movement Differences and Diversity by Martha Leary and Anne Donnellan for free.  It’s a much-updated much-bigger version of another book with a similar title (Movement Differences and Diversity in Autism/Mental Retardation).  I actually recommend both books because the first one is much more concise which is good for some things.  But the second one has a lot more information in it.  And that’s the one that’s free with Kindle Unlimited.  I’m not trying to plug Amazon here, it’s just a holiday gift of a Fire opened up this whole new world to me book-wise and I’m sometimes amazed.

Also, as I always point out to people new to the concept – while they talk about movement, they don’t just mean body movement, but also movement of thoughts memories, things like that.  So it covers a lot more ground than you’d think, and they’re really the only two books I’ve seen tackle the subject at all well.
