Charlie, my old feeding tube had to be retired. But this is Priscilla, my new feeding tube. I’m still getting to know her. I don’t know why these names come to me the way they do, and I’ve never been one for naming objects before, but I guess a feeding tube is a more intimate relationship than you have with most objects, on all kinds of levels.
