Sigh.

I put on my HabitRPG daily goal list to write something that could be useful to someone else on tumblr.

That last post is not what I expected to happen.  :-(

But if it saves one other person’s adaptive equipment, it’ll be worth something, even if I feel like the world’s biggest heel right now.  (And no, I’m not fishing for sympathy, I don’t want it.  My friend needs it if anyone, but honestly she’s not looking for it either, she just wants a chair that works.  And she’s in the bari chair range with a very mangled spine so she can’t just get a random hospital chair and expect it to work, she needs custom seating options and stuff, very weirdly-shaped back.  The broken part – the seat – seems fixable, possibly very cheaply (although nothing is cheap by her SSI-and-in-deep-debt standards, so I’ll end up paying if I can), it’s just a matter of what the damage is, who can repair it, and how expensive it is for parts and repair.)
