Oh that’s a typo, thanks for catching it. it now says: “I’m studying up on savant syndrome lately. It’s been an area of autism I’ve neglected. This book would mean the world to me. It’s becoming a special interest. Priority: Highest”
I’m using Swype as a keyboard on my iPad and my Kindle Fire both, and sometimes it makes weird typoes like that, like ‘up on” becomes “up pin” or something like that. They’re called Swypos instead of typos. Now if I could only get a way to stop saying “penile” and “peyote” when I try to type “people”. (When I remove them from my dictionary they sometimes come back.)
Come to think of it maybe I should make a separate category for savant syndrome in my wishlist, since not all savants are autistic. (Books by autistic savants like Daniel Tammett and Mary Meinel-Newport would remain in the autism books category, though. Since I can only put a book in one category, and I first and foremost collect books by autistic people,as well as histoical reference books and incredibly interesting autism books if they’re by nonautistic people.)
