Please help this Chronically Ill/ Disabled Girl leave an emotionally abusive relationship and gain independence…

For the past 8 months I’ve been in a relationship with a highly controlling man who completely does not understand my illnesses. I don’t know why I’ve stayed this long other than the feeling of being completely trapped. I’ve been largely isolated from my friends and family. I was being told what to do, what to eat, when to sleep/wake up. I’m chronically ill and he doesn’t even really try to understand my limitations, he sees what I can do on a good day and expects I can do that every day. 

Now I’m in the hospital as my intermittent paralysis is flared. No matter what I choose I can’t go back to where I live now because it is NOT handicap accessible. The Hospital Social Work team can help me find a place to live but the real issue is the money. I’m estimating that I’ll need about $2,000 dollars in order to move. That includes Security deposit and first months rent and other miscellaneous moving expenses.  

On top of needing to move I need to adapt my vehicle and learn how to drive with my hands. The equipment itself will likely cost another $1,000 plus the cost of the actual driving rehab. I’m guessing it’ll cost $1,500 to get me driving again. Me driving is essential to me leaving this relationship. 

But alas I have nothing. My bank account is empty. I’m not a leprechaun I can’t just pull $3,500 out of my thin air. That’s why I’m writing this post, I’m asking for help.
