as small as a world and as large as alone

My father’s beard. He cut some of it off before he died and sent it to me so I would always have it. Miraculously managed not to lose this while delirious despite forgetting he was dead, forgetting what it was, and taking it off and putting it on again throughout my hospital stay.

But I did get $200 stolen from my purse. That was my emergency money. I now can’t take my cat to the vet until I amass enough again. Don’t ever bring valuables to the hospital unless someone else is watching your wallet etc. at all times.

My father’s beard is one of the most important things I own. I am thinking, once I have money again, of putting the rest in some kind of display thing on my ancestor shrine. I already noticed the rocks he sent like living together on his shrine.
