I notice I’m no longer listed in lists of nonverbal autistic people who believe such-and-such a thing.
I don’t know whether this is an improvement or not.
Nor do I know whether it’s because I don’t believe in a sharp division between verbal and nonverbal autistic people, or whether it’s because I’m too dangerous to name anymore because people have believed false rumors about me. Or because I grew up verbal and that’s not allowed in nonverbal people. (Never mind that most of the people on those lists can speak somewhat, often better/more often than I can, these days. Because verbal/nonverbal is not an accurate dividing line, for just about anyone.) Or some totally different reason.
And I don’t even know anymore whether the false rumors people believe are the old ones (that I somehow enjoy pretending to be autistic, WTF) or the new ones (that I’m a transmisogynist, WTF), both of which require, in their minds, total shunning of me, by anyone who believes them.

madeofpatterns reblogged this from withasmoothroundstone and added:it’s weird particularly for that list because you believe the thing and a lot of people on that list don’t, as far as I...
