I notice I’m no longer listed in lists of…

It’s…*possible* that they’re young enough to not really know who you are? Like Ido, Amy, and Emma have gotten more press fairly recently?

Yeah that’s true.  I think that was partially what was included in “or other reasons”.  There’s plenty of reasons, but I’ve noticed a slow trend towards not including me in such lists.  I’m not sure if it bothers me or not half the time, because I really got sick of being the token nonverbal person that everyone pulled out every time they wanted an example of a nonverbal person who believed such-and-such.  To the point I wonder how Amy feels about being that person for the ‘autistic community’ these days – because it’s very obvious to me that’s all she is to some people.  For me it was worth it, sometimes, but not pleasant.
