mylifetumbled: Joey Tranchina in his darkroom — La Honda, California • c.1976 What’s the difference between a “Self-Portrait” & a “Selfie?” Could it be something like the difference between the smell of chemicals & the mathematical interpretation of pixels… oh & quasi-permanence of  paper? Throughout the 70s, I probably spent as much time in that room                     as I’ve ever spent, awake, in one room in my life.
