is it just me or are your doctors like exceptionally bad

you know what is terrifying?

every doctor I see is from a huge expensive hospital and most of them have like awards

so they all are highly praised for being exceptionally bad I guess

I’m honestly questioning my sanity at this point like am I really sick??? If I was sick wouldn’t they do something?

But no if I wasn’t sick I would be homeless mom would kick me out for being a bum if I didn’t have a valid excuse????

Doctors who are really famous and have lots of awards are often quite bad.  So are teaching hospitals.

I’m lucky in that I have a small number of doctors who have my back, in a hospital where people have not always been good to me by a long shot.  (As in, neglect so bad that I now have new medical conditions because of it, i.e. bronchiectasis, which is normally only seen in people with CF, AIDS, or places where there’s not enough vaccination or medical care in general.  I got it through lack of medical care when I had bad infections and atelectasis.  And that’s just one of many examples, from the distant past.  New ones are too raw to talk about sometimes.)
