bloodpuppet asked: Thanks a bunch for taking the time to reply to my post about gender-neutral clothing, it helped me understand a little more.

No problem. It’s a hard problem that will likely not go away anytime soon, and people on all sides can become testy about it. Like I want to be able to wear skirts without it getting coded as feminine, but lots of cis and trans women and also some cross dressers really depend on skirts being coded as feminine. I don’t like the idea of being relegated to a (always somewhat masculine) “gender neutral clothing” idea, I want to be able to wear anything and have it be gender neutral because I’m gender neutral! But I understand why many people see it as a solution including some genderless people. So I can see that it’s complicated and I can’t see any rigid or easy solutions being possible. It would almost have to be a case by case thing, but that’s hard to pull off because we don’t wear signs and shouldn’t have to. I don’t have answers only questions.
