Easy tests of joint hypermobility that can’t be faked. (Some people who are hypermobile in only a couple joints may be able to do just one thing. Being tested formally for hypermobility requires an entire series of weird bendy movements.)
Someone once said she hoped I hurt myself bending my wrist like this because I wasn’t really hypermobile. She neglected to understand that people who are not hypermobile in that joint could not do this no matter how much they hurt.
