Friend

I’m with a friend right now. We’re somehow enjoying ourselves even though we’re most of the time not interacting with each other in any direct way, and I don’t understand a word she’s saying. (The appointment used up my comprehension quota for the moment.) I suspect if someone came in here they wouldn’t see it as us spending time together at all, because we’re facing different ways, doing different things, and not having a conversation. They’d be wrong.
