Anonymous asked: I'd caution against using Language Pod. It's very very very spammy and will email you almost every day, trying to get you to upgrade. I still get emails from them sometimes even though I unsubscribed. (I'm okay with emails but not so frequently and annoyingly). After your 7 day trial ends, the material is extremely bare without going premium. Many users have thought it rude and a little manipulative.

Thanks for the information, that’s enough to make me wary of using it, and through posting this ask my readers will see the information too, and hopefully will come to a better-infomed decision about whether to use it or not. Sometimes when things seem too good to be true, they really are. Thanks again for the info.

Never tried it myself, and don’t think I will. Passing this along for anyone else who might have been considering it.

Yeah, that was about my experience with them, too.
