Okay so…

I can’t manage to get too offended by Eleanor Rigby. It’s one of my favorite Beatles songs despite some of the lyrics.

Norwegian Wood creeps me out.

And Run For Your Life scares the shit out of me. What the fuck was John Lennon thinking? I know he later said it was his least favorite Beatles song (I’m with him there, it’s the only one star rating on my Beatles playlist) and he wished he’d never written it. But why write it in the first place, even if you did get the idea from an Elvis song? I don’t idolize the Beatles like some people do but I can’t reconcile it with any of their personalities.
