I have mixed feelings about whether I can think of myself as a feminist.
But I am sure that standing up for women is a priority for me. And it has a major impact on how I live my life.
It is possible to think that misogyny exists and to really, really care about fighting it, without buying into the social theory and culture associated with feminism.
What I do is definitely informed by feminism, and I definitely owe a lot to the accomplishments of various feminist movements. But I’m not sure that I’m part of it in the way that identifying as a feminist would imply.
