elleveraphotography: “The Giving Tree” In various parts of Vancouver you’ll notice fallen trees left where they fell. They do this because many of the trees are nurse logs. “A nurse log is a fallen tree, which as it decays, provides a seedbed to conifers,” such as the one in the picture I captured.  Thank you Mims for the title :)
