When Dreams Go Meta

• [I'm dreaming that I'm in class. I don't really understand what anyone's saying, get bored, and start flying around the room.]
• Teacher: [Nonverbally] WTF... oh whatever, you're just messing with me.
• Student #1: What the...
• Student #2: Dream?
• Student #3: Yep.
• Student #1 and #2: Ohhhh, okay.
• [I'm left to wonder whether people in *someone else's* dream can be self-aware. And whether it counts as lucid dreaming when they are aware they're in someone else's dream. Then I wake up.]
