How can you be a non-profit if you’re lining your pockets?

That’s enough to fund >500 ipads with proloquo2go, actually enabling autistic people to speak. 

But we wouldn’t want that.

And even more iPod Touches with Proloquo2go (which is what I use, unless I somehow someday get an iPad, which would be mega-useful but currently too expensive), considering they’re… I think less than half the price of an iPad. And for people who can manage to use it there’s even less expensive software, making it really easy for funds like that to help tons and tons of people. It’s too bad autistic people never seem to see the results of such funds put to good use. There’s so many relatively low-cost things that funds like that could do that could totally transform the lives of autistic people in tons and tons of ways.
