You know it’s bad when something you read on Tumblr gives you nightmares and you wake up furious, with tears all over your cheeks from crying in your sleep.

In this dream I’d been running for public office in a world not that different from this one. I was running because of the inequalities…

I’m just going to reblog this AGAIN because it needs to be reblogged. Also, my God, just for your genuine concern I actually think you should run for President. 

Not that it matters much.  Given that it was just a dream. But I think I was running for mayor or governor or… something localish that the dream was oddly nonspecific about.  Definitely not president.  I think I saw two or three people get that idea so thought I’d say something.  Also I have neither the stamina nor the background to realistically run for office of any kind. But I’d utterly love if a disabled person with a true grasp of the basic personhood of… people in general… and the implications for disabled people, could actually pull it off.
