OMG I FINISHED IT!!!!!

Wow. That took forever. The writing-in-my-head has taken over half my life and the writing it out has taken months of hitting the right moments to continue the thing.

(What I’m talking about is a really long article called Across The Divide. That link links to the first one, I broke it into eight parts to make it more manageable on tumblr, each one links to all the others so it’s easy to get through once you know the first one.)

The thing talks about autism-related communication/movement/perceptual problems at first, and what those mean in different contexts, and how meeting other people like me has totally changed my view of what they mean, and how people trying to envision a society without ableism either go too far into the wrong direction (until they’re doing exactly what they say they’re trying not to do) or not far enough at all, and… a lot of different stuff.

But it’s finished. (Well… I may revise it from here on out but it’s basically finished.)

And I think I have both a migraine and some degree of dehydration just from the details of posting the thing that took all day.
