chochosdream: Heart of the Tree… Memorial Park Redwoods, San Mateo [A tree with a hole in it roughly shaped like a heart.] Okay why is it that when I go into the “redwoods” and “redwood” tags, all or part of it jogs tons of childhood memories? Especially the ones in San Mateo county. It’s like a constant “OMG I remember that place” feeling. I think Memorial Park is where I saw something really weird looking going on in one of the hollow trees – looked like a shiny whitish soap bubble being blown in and out in two directions. Scared the hell out of me for some reason. And where they had a hollow log so big we could all walk inside it. I think it had mushrooms growing upside down.
