This is something my body does less of these days, ever since a particular health crash that seemed to dull my energy levels greatly. But it still happens, particularly when very overloaded by certain kinds of things.

In this case, it’s the sort of thing my body suddenly started doing after viewing the Temple Grandin video that someone stuck on the autism tag. Not because of any emotion I might be feeling (please don’t interpret this that way, it doesn’t work), but because something about her seriously overloads me. As in, a combination of the same way reading extremely abstract text overloads me, and the way people with a certain forward-directed forcefulness(*) overload me. It’s nothing personal, and entirely separate from the actual content of what she was saying. (Which I’ll get to later, if ever.)

It’s really hard to walk around the house, operate computers, and do just about anything else when your body is trying to do this the entire time. It’s also really exhausting really fast, especially when you have stamina-reducing conditions. I’m rather glad it’s calmed down a bit.

.

(*) That’s a translation of one of my many movement-related observations that don’t, ever, translate well, but actually form most of my understanding of things. At any rate people who do that always overload me, and she does it a lot.
