As far as I know, this is some kind of very mild curry, containing the following: Sweet potatoes, spinach, cilantro, tomatoes, and garbanzo beans. And rice underneath all that. I don’t know what spices are used. It is really good. I am very lucky right now. The two people who work here in the evening love cooking and cook well. This is especially important in that I often have a reduced appetite and have trouble convincing myself to eat enough, if it’s not good food. To give you some idea how rare this is. There’s two different people who were outright abusive and scary. I allowed both of them to stay here much longer than they should have because they were both excellent cooks. They both used that fact to manipulate me and to put down other staff to make themselves seem better than everyone else. It didn’t help matters that one of them could cook amazing food that cost practically nothing. That’s in contrast to the usual, who range from “meh” to horrible. Horrible as in, the woman who cooked rice, mixed in uncooked beans, and lots and lots of chunks of rock salt. One bite almost made me puke. But these current two are much better than that. As far as I can tell they’re actually good people in general, and cooking isn’t the only thing they’re good at. In fact just about everyone in every shift right now are excellent at what they do. Which is really hard to come by. I hope they stick around a long time.
