[Two pictures of a painting. One is framed on a gallery wall, with reflections interfering. The other is the same painting scanned piece by piece on a small scanner and spliced together. The painting is a rainbow-colored fat woman sitting underneath stars and the moon. One hand is up in the air, and she is leaning on the other hand. Her toes are wiggling. The background is dark green, blue, and purple.]

I wish I was as good at doing image descriptions for screenreaders as the gallery people were at writing audio descriptions for blind people. I never knew it was possible to describe my paintings well in words but they managed it.

This is the painting that I did that’s at the gallery right now. It was rather weird to see people go by and use language I couldn’t understand to describe it. :-P Nobody believed I did it with my fingers instead of brushes. Except for one person who paints with her toes sometimes. One of my friends was glad I paint fat people sometimes because she says there aren’t enough people who think fat people are worth painting. Which seems weird to me but then I’m a fat person so what would I know.
