feliscorvus: ravensbeak: by Christian Falk Not my photo, but I should try taking some photos of the crows that like to hang out in my yard. They always look like they’ve got some sort of incredibly complicated social-political thing going on. And when there’s a whole lot of them all cawing and yelling it always reminds me of Parliament. There are a lot of crows here at certain times of year. There’s a row of trees near my building that hundreds of them sit in together.  When they talk to each other, it has the right level of complexity to be a language.  I just wonder when humans will bypass their biases about that enough to study its meaning.
