“Rich people are allowed to be eccentric. People who aren’t rich are just crazy. You’re not rich so you’ll never get away with being eccentric.”

— One of my psychologists said this to me growing up. As if I had a choice in the matter. This is the same guy who told me that people in the psych system never become legal adults.
