Normally I am not one to post pictures of shirtless dudes, but this is fascinating. I definitely wouldn’t risk getting struck by lightning just so my arm could look like this, but it’s still really neat-looking. Nice juxtaposition with the paisley bedspread, too. Wow that looks just like the “beam trees” that come from a similar effect – the discharge pattern coming out of plastic that’s been stuck in front of a particle accelerator and then stuck with a nail. I have one somewhere as my dad worked at SLAC and had two of them. I’ll post photos if I ever find them.
