Maybe I shouldn’t track the Autism Speaks Facebook page anymore?

Because oh god that was seriously anxiety provoking. I’m shaking. Why would you post a picture of your daughter, mid-meltdown, on the Internet where so many people can see it? I can’t imagine that it was with her consent. Just…if someone did that to me, I’d be horrified. I see that you want to “show her journey” and all, but…why is that okay on any level? 

oh geez. That’s horrible. I hate it when people do that or post photos of kids bruises from self injury and stuff. Especially when they’re clearly forcing them into a physical position that best displays them with no thought of what the kid wants.
