It would have to be this week.

Right now I’m in the waiting room of the pain clinic. I’m here to get a nerve block on my trigeminal nerve and one or two of the nerves in my neck. Which means I’ll likely be in really awful pain for a week or two until it kicks in. (Because they inject steroids right under the nerve, which pushes on the nerve and makes it hurt before it disperses and starts working.) It’s very rare that this isn’t really painful for a couple weeks. So I have that to look forward to.

In better news, though, I’m no longer having trouble breathing on my own. Of course that may be because it’s now freezing out, after 80-degree weather, and that might change again when the weather gets warmer.
