Ohmigod, what is that sound? So loud, it hurts.

Oh. It’s the cat purring.

Go ‘way, blankets. Scratchy. Someone turn off the sun. My eyes, I’m gunna claw…

Don’t forget my favorite: “Someone pulled out my brain and ripped it to shreds and stirred them up then poured them back into my head in the wrong order and it HURRRRTS.”

Last blog post I wrote about a seizure, someone told me off for saying ‘uh-uh’ over and over while post-ictal. After waking up and finding that my hands had dialed 911 for no good reason other than automatism, and not knowing what was going on. Apparently saying that is rude. I should have spoken. Even though I’m nonverbal even when I’m not post-ictal. But no, I had to be scolded about that. And scolded for dialing 911 at all because you can get in big trouble for dialing when it’s not an emergency. Which I apparently didn’t know until she told me? And apparently the idea of seizure automatisms meant nothing to her. Or post-ictal confusion that meant I couldn’t explain or understand what was happening even after I could type to the emergency responders. So… yeah. Haven’t dared write about post ictal states since.
