The Redwoods
Silent giants tower above the moss covered ground.
As leaves tumble through the air, there is not a soul to be found.
Their hulking trunks stand firm against the stark, gray sky.
A whisper of a breeze makes the branches sigh.
In the distance, the sad lament of a train whistle is heard.
It tells a sad tale without saying a word.
