And unlike autism, it can kill you! Both on its own in supervilliany ways (the physiology of status epilepticus is really scary) and by the asshole who’s only had woefully inadequete Red Cross first aid training really fucking hurting you!

And intellectual disability affects 1-3% of people and they never call that an epidemic. That’s between 1 in 100 and 1 in 33. They were calling autism an epidemic when the recorded rate was much less than that.
