beardybeardy: Spent a day in the redwoods for a research project (on the differences in bird species diversity between old growth and second growth if you care to know). It was pouring, but that is when everything comes alive. It was so eerie but profoundly gorgeous. I was a little bit hoping for a dinosaur to come around that bend in the creek.
