sherlocksflataffect: Truth. Unless I just need to outsprint someone over about 100 yards. Then I’ll be ok. [One of those your ecards things in yellow with a couple people running. The caption reads “If I ever had to run for my life, I would probably die.”] …yeah. That freaks me out sometimes. When I try to run away from my cat, the most I can manage is a frenzied but not that fast walk. The longest I ever walk before collapsing is partway down my hallway. On forearm crutches. And that’s at my best. At my worst if I can walk at all it’s a step or two, and my real worst I can’t move. If I can get the motor planning to walk, either my joints become too painful to walk on, my leg muscles give out, or my entire body goes floppy, depending on which condition gets me first. Generally I just try not to think of those situations because if I did it would seriously freak me out.
