Here are some pictures I wasn’t embarrassed to take. I spent Friday night and Saturday with friends in Marin, where the hills are still beautiful because the heat hasn’t dried out the grass yet (they’ll be beautiful then too, just gold instead of green), and we took a short hike through some redwoods. I used to live in the forest and sometimes I miss it.
