what if every convention had cosplayers

like you went to a business convention and someone cosplayed as a stapler 

Next autism conference I go to, I’m cosplaying as Temple Grandin. Or as a brave maverick quack.

As I said a while back on Twitter:

“I’ve joked that when I present at academic conferences, I’m cosplaying as a responsible adult.”

I’m trying to figure out who or what I could cosplay as that would actually fit my body type. I used to actually go to school – I’m talking grade school In the eighties – in costume as various characters without even knowing what cosplay was. I know another autistic person who did the same. In the early to mid sixties I think and continuing into adulthood.
